About the Company:
Performs invoicing and billing functions, and tracks capital project financials. Contributes to accounting activities and reporting functions. Interfaces with and responds to the requests of the building’s operations staff and ownership.
About the Role:
Reviews and processes funding requests. Works closely with the Property Manager and Bank management in the creation of yearly budgets for Service & Delivery and Engineering. Performs quarterly reforecasts for Service & Delivery and Engineering. Issues and tracks purchase orders; processes payments for services, repairs, and utilities. Provides input on budgeting for minor maintenance and supply/equipment purchases. Tracks all capital project financials, including contracts and invoices in comparison to the capital budget; reallocates costs within the capital budget, as needed. Performs billing for retail tenants. Supports preparation of financials for the Monthly Report that is submitted to the Bank. Contributes to developing financial operating reports in various formats. Aids in variance analyses and bank reconciliations. Assists external auditors with annual and interim audits. Interacts with property staff and building ownership. Reconciles monthly payroll and property management expenses. Assists in recording journal entries, as needed. Performs duties of the Senior Accountant as needed. Performs other duties and special analytical and accounting studies as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years related experience; Real Estate accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Yardi general ledger and reporting, MicroSoft Word, Excel
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated reporting, quantitative and qualitative accounting skills
Preferred Skills:
CPA preferred but not required
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
