Salary : $80000 - $90000
Job Requirements
- Manage all aspects of HVAC design projects including equipment selection and specifications, system design, layout, calculations and field visits with little supervision
- Responsible for basic oversight of the profitability and timeliness of production
- Design and engineering of HVAC systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement, and system upgrades. Thorough familiarity and understanding of interiors HVAC systems
- Prepare load calculations, equipment selection, equipment specification, system design system layout, field investigations, construction administration and quality analysis / quality control
- Knowledge of critical facilities, healthcare and laboratory HVAC systems
- Consulting responsibilities including preparation of due diligence, and feasibility reports. Need to be able to evaluate feasibility of construction
- Field trouble shooting skills must have good documentation skill.
- Interface with clients, attend meetings and presentations
- Coordinate with other disciplines and work in close contact with the entire design team. Must be an effective team player
- Maintain client satisfaction
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Have a thorough understanding of codes and building standards
- Have the desire to help manage and develop younger engineers
