Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Our client is a 40 year old $300M sports construction company in the West Palm Beach area. They have a reputation for superior quality work, and they treat staff like family. This organization is currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the business, projects, and staff.

The Role:

• Oversee and coordinate the planning and implementation of construction frame and form work projects
• Perform job site inspections / audits of shoring, rebar, safety, and quality
• Responsible for managing the project productivity, costs, quality and safety consistent with company policies and practices
• Manage assigned projects including working with local team to develop processes for delivering total construction solutions
• Supervise the activity and development of assistant project managers.
• Assist with the development and estimating of material and equipment schedules
• Manage and coordinate all subcontractor and vendor contracts

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with civil site work; above ground, underground, lasering, pipeline, drainage, etc.
• Experience hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance of staff.
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and organize information regarding plan layouts, materials and job site productivity.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
