This hybrid role sits in Monmouth County, New Jersey near Freehold, NJ.NOTE : This is a 3 / 2 hybrid role where the ideal candidate should be accessible to company / regional HQ.No C2Cs, international, out of area applicants or those seeking visa sponsorship support will be considered.Job Requirements : The Role : The ideal Software Manager will lead software engineers in Agile Scrum environments. Most of the software is written in C language and runs on Linux. Some Python is used. Position is open due to promotion and expansion. The selected individual will lead and manage software engineers and programmers as well and one or two QA engineers. Will provide technical coaching, performance feedback and leadership to improve processes as well as take part in design and code reviews. Must be able to interview, hire new engineers and build a team. Will be accountable for the software that is released to production.
