Our client is seeking a Stockroom Supervisor to oversee the inventory cycle count program, ensuring inventory accuracy and reconciling for inaccurate inventory to continuously improve material management. In the role, you will be managing and constantly improving the control and flow of material from supplier to customer.
Job Function:
Responsibilities
- Print and assign Work Orders and Requisitions to stock room personnel and support timely execution of work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks of themselves and the team to best use resources to complete daily work.
- Oversee the inventory cycle count program, ensuring accuracy of inventory and performing reconciling for inaccurate inventory to continuously improve material management
- Manage and continuously improve the control and flow of material from supplier to customer
- Manage the shelf life program, monitoring expiration dates and performing positive recall of soon to expire material from the production floor
- Manage the stock room team to account for flex schedules, daily work loads and individual skills and trainings.
- Create orders for stock room supply material
Ensure compliance to all company standards and procedures
Job Requirement:
Qualifications/Competencies
- High school diploma (Associates Degree or higher in a relevant field preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Experience working in a stockroom or in material management
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information across departments
- Team player and collaborator, leading a team and being part of a team to get the best results for the people and the company
- Able to adapt and be resourceful in a fast paced, sometimes chaotic environment
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
