About the POSITION :
Goal : Lead Estimating team in professionally preparing complete and thorough estimates for the Commercial and Industrial HVAC, Sheet Metal, Plumbing and Piping trades including all subcontracts and equipment pricing and to bring this estimates to the point of presentation to Construction Management.
About the Role : Duties :
- Prepare and implement an estimate plan for assigned projects according to procedures.
- Manage complete Estimating Department
- Utilize the task list as a tool to implement estimate plans.
- Review all problems of take-off conditions and document interpretation and provide an analysis for direction.
- Perform the take-off with speed and accuracy in accordance with procedures.
- Develop and be responsible for initial subcontractor or equipment vendors’ contact as required.
- Prepare, coordinate and convey project related instructions, information, questions, and clarifications between management and various vendor / subcontract groups.
