Executive Group, a premier manufacturer and installer of custom architectural millwork and casework, is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The Assistant Project Manager position is structured for growth into a Project Manager position.
This position requires the successful candidate to work on-site at our factory location in Amsterdam, New York.
At Executive Group, we work with industry leaders in Hospitality, Multifamily Towers, Corporate Environments, Higher Education, and Arena/Stadium markets. This role offers the opportunity to manage diverse and exciting projects from inception to completion.
Position Overview
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with clients, vendors, drafters, engineers, and our production team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal Document control via company ERP
- Manage internal project schedules.
- Occasionally Conduct field surveys documenting required site conditions.
- Oversee the submittal process to secure approvals.
- Ensure all approvals are received to meet the project schedules.
- Assist in performing material take-offs and oversee purchasing.
- Communicate with Subcontractors and vendors to verify quote pricing and lead times.
- Utilize our ERP INNERGY system for efficient project management.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of AWI standards, LEED requirements, and INNERGY ERP is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field and/or 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior managerial experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with an ERP system is preferred
- Salary $60,000-$80,000 commensurate with experience
