BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Building Maintenance Technician's purpose is to maintain a safe, functional, and efficient building for members and others. This role will involve the inspection of equipment, and performance of basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required.
BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Seasonal changes involving the set up and break down outdoor amenities
- General maintenance of all pools and spas
- Maintaining fitness equipment
- Maintaining Indoor/outdoor tennis courts
- Other duties as assigned
BUILDING MAINTENANCE PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, etc., as job may require.
- Ability to climb a ladder and step ladder
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
BUILDING MAINTENANCE REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Above average work ethic
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Strong time management skills.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous trade experience is preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with smart phone apps
COMPENSATION:
The company offers a highly competitive compensation package for technician positions which includes a base hourly pay rate in the range of $22–$25 dollars per hour, a health club membership, flexible scheduling, and the ability to participate in our performance-based incentive program.
SUPERVISION:
The part-time Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Facilities Director.
