EJM Flight Support is a growing department that is the central hub of EJM operations globally. The department is comprised of Domestic and International Flight Support Specialists that dispatch almost every flight that EJM operates. Domestic and International Specialists engage with internal and external customers such as crew members, Owner Services, Charter Solutions, Fleet Maintenance, Crew Recourse Planning as well as countless third-party vendors.
The primary function of the Domestic Flight Support Specialist is to review the continental US trips for feasibility, provide crew support and accomplish crew briefings, all while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Provides highest level of service and safety for all flight crews, owners and employees by accomplishing feasibility analysis, coordination of trip changes, airspace monitoring and crew briefings.
- Act as a liaison between Charter, Owner Services, Senior Operations, and Crews, ensuring appropriate communication and coordination between all groups.
- Monitor and advise a plan of action in response to trip affecting variables such as weather, and air traffic control programs.
- Special procedures such as DASSP, Event Notifications, Emergency Response Plan.
- Obtain slots, coordinate after hours arrangements, and flight tracking.
- Provide back-up support to International Flight Support Specialist and other FOC positions as required.
- Prefer FAR 91 /135 work experience with a focus in Domestic operations.
- Ideal candidate will already have a FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License.
- FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License and EJM Operational Control required within one year of hire date
- Good communication skills required.
- Good computer / software skills required.
- Good customer service skills required.
- A high school diploma is required Two / four-year college degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex environment. An aviation background is preferred.
- A good grasp of geography, time zones, general aircraft performance factors, etc.
- Able to gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent and with little to no assistance.
- This role is based in Cincinnati, Ohio in our 24/7/365 Flight Operations Center
- Will be required to work weekends, holidays, day, evening and overnight shifts, in accordance with departmental bidding or assignment policies.
