The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food science, chemistry, and engineering, with a proven track record in plant-based food and beverage development, functional ingredients, and/or alternative proteins. With experience driving innovation strategies, managing large product portfolios, and leading cross-functional teams, this individual will excel in developing and executing a long-term innovation strategy that identifies breakthrough opportunities in plant-based foods, functional ingredients, and sustainable packaging.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing an innovation roadmap
- Leading the formulation, testing, and commercialization of new food and beverage products
- Collaborating with marketing, supply chain, operations, and sales teams
- Establishing and managing relationships with universities, research institutions, ingredient suppliers, and co-manufacturers
