Over 50% of stores' leadership are staffed by "couples"-spouses, partners, or close friends). One is Store Manager, the other is Front End Manager.
THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Front End Manager (along with spouse or partner leading the Front End activities) will achieve sales and profitability goals by leading store teams to be the store of the community for grocery and general merchandise.
You will serve as leader of the community outpost in a rural and culturally diverse setting.
This is a training position and you and your spouse/partner/friend will be relocated to another store upon completion.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Miniumum of 2 years grocery management experience with an aptitude for self-motivation and adapting to new environments.
Knowledge and passion to live and work in rural Alaska is a must.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Base salary $49,000 based on experience, 107.5% bonus potential upon successful completion of training program.
