Job Description
As a clinical psychologist at EMH, you will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team. We focus on providing clinicians with the tools needed to succeed in their roles. You will work directly with a trained clinical manager and the support team to enhance your skill set and experience working with this complex population.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will have the opportunity to provide mental health services to a diverse and medically complex population, including geriatric patients, patients with disabilities, and those with complex psychiatric histories.
- Maintain an active caseload and work with the team to maintain a referral stream.
- Develop relationships with facility staff and provide consultation e.g. curbside consult, in-services as needed, etc.
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
- Document-based on medical necessity and in accordance with Medicare standards.

Doctoral degree (Ph.D., PsyD) in Clinical Psychology (required) Current and valid California state license as a Psychologist (required) Medicare Provider eligibility (required, our in-house billing team assists with this) Ability to be placed on 3rd party insurer panels (required, we assist with this process) Strong clinical background in evidence-based practices Telehealth experience and / or willingness to learn and utilize modality
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
