Applicants must also possess a J.D. degree, be an active member of the bar (any jurisdiction); and have at least one (1) year post J.D. legal or relevant experience. Applicant must possess superior oral and written communication skills, as well as strong character and interpersonal skills; have demonstrated the capacity to function, with minimal guidance, in a highly demanding environment.
Preferred Qualification:
Outstanding academic record; complex litigation experience involving white collar and/or public corruption; exceptional research and writing ability; the ability to successfully represent the interest of the United States in the federal court; the ability to handle and successfully manage a heavy case load involving complex cases; five or more jury trials.

This vacancy is located within the Criminal Division, Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF). As a member of the OCDETF, assignments will include the investigation and prosecution of violent offenses, drug trafficking, and organized crime.
Preferred Candidates: Are able to handle and successfully manage a heavy case load involving complex cases; five (5) or more jury trials.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Security Requirements: Initial appointment is conditioned upon a satisfactory preemployment adjudication. This includes fingerprint, credit and tax checks, and drug testing.
