Our Mission: We provide technology leadership across the Commonwealth to enhance the quality of public service and foster positive community outcomes.

About the MDO:

Under the leadership of the Chief Data Officer, the Massachusetts Data Office (MDO) partners with organizations across state government to transform how agencies use data to improve policies, services, and operations and better serve Massachusetts residents. We establish data procedures and policies, streamline data systems, and drive innovation in enterprise-wide data management and analytics.
