Job Summary
The Governor’s Office of Indian Affairs is seeking a Manager of Health Programs and Initiatives to support the well-being of Native American communities in Louisiana. This full-time position, grant funded by LDH, is based in Baton Rouge and involves collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Health and other state agencies.
Duties
-Build partnerships with Native American/Tribal communities
-Develop health and wellness prevention programs
-Advocate for public health initiatives
-Provide education and training
-Research and evaluate public health efforts
Skills
-Preferred Master’s in health programs, social sciences, human services or related fields
-Experience in behavioral health, substance misuse, or related fields
-Public health and social services knowledge
