Job Summary:
The Technical Team Lead will oversee the technical aspects of slot machine relocation and provide leadership to the technical staff. This role requires recent experience in casino gaming environments and game relocation projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all technical operations are conducted smoothly and in compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Slot Technicians, both local and contracted, in the execution of slot machine relocation tasks.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement relocation strategies and schedules.
- Ensure all slot machines are properly decommissioned, relocated, and recommissioned with minimal disruption to casino operations.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex slot machine issues.
- Liaise with the casino's remodel project management to align technical activities with the overall project timeline.
- Oversee training and development of Slot Technicians to build a skilled and knowledgeable team.
- Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and technical standards.
- Prepare regular reports on technical operations and progress of relocation activities for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a technical leadership role within a casino environment.
- Proven track record of successful slot machine relocation and installation.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and technical proficiency in multiple slot machine platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
- Comprehensive understanding of gaming compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, based on project needs.
