We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Operations Manager at our St. Charles, MO facility to lead and innovate within our fast-paced technology environment. This role is a critical blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and leadership acumen, designed to ensure smooth and sustainable growth of our internal systems and applications while driving performance improvements
Brief Summary of Duties:
- Coordinate and maintain internal systems and applications, plan for growth and performance improvements for said systems.
- Manage all IT operations
- Review any proposals for new equipment and hardware for cost effectiveness
- Review recurring IT services for surplus services and increase in rates
- Act as Change manager for the IT organization.
- Develop budget for IT operations as well as tracking actual expenses
- Coordinate with development and IS managers to help facilitate new projects and support existing systems.
- Facilitate innovation and improvement to the IT infrastructure
- May include traveling and off-hours work as needed
- Other duties as assigned by department
Experience and/or Education Requirements:
- Knowledge of MS Windows Desktop and Server operating systems as well as MS Office 365 applications
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects
- Strong Leadership abilities, and ability to balance individual needs with those needs of the team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn and adopt new procedures in a timely manner.
- 5 years in IT leadership role
- 5 years system administration with MS Windows systems and servers
- 2 years of being a supervisor or manager
- 3 years System administration in a secure environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively across various audiences.
- Proven interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
- Sound decision-making abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to assess situations, consider alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
Experience and/or Education Preferred:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Citrix, Cisco or MCSE of some form
- Supervisory role in a secure data environment preferably PCI or HIPPA compliant
- Experience or knowledge of the ITAD industry
