Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations of buildings, structures, and structural components.
- Perform structural analysis, damage assessment, and review building code compliance.
- Utilize lab and field testing of construction materials to support findings.
- Prepare detailed written reports summarizing analyses and conclusions.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and legal teams as needed.
- Manage multiple unique projects, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) (mandatory).
- Proficiency in engineering software such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong work ethic and ability to self-manage effectively.
- 2 years of forensic engineering experience (preferred but not required).
- Litigation experience is a significant advantage.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or design is a plus.
- Advanced technical education (a plus).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
