Working closely with our Associate General Counsel, this person will focus on aerospace / aviation matters with a heavy emphasis on drafting, negotiating, and managing many complex contracts in connection with RFPs for aerospace / aviation goods and services. The individual will partner closely with the supply chain and engineering teams as they work with suppliers that are among the most sophisticated companies in the world.
Depending on the individual’s performance and company needs, there is the possibility of this role expanding to include additional legal matters, including energy matters, or to become a full-time employee role.

Qualifications :
- JD degree. Must be a state bar member in good standing.
- Ideally, 7 years of substantial transactional experience driving complex agreements within a fast-moving environment, including a combination of law firm training and in-house counsel experience
- Experience preferred with the aerospace / aviation supply chain driven RFP and contracting process (OEM / supplier-side or customer-side)
- Also considered :
o Similar experience to the above in non-aerospace / aviation sectors, particularly if involving significant coordination with the supply chain and engineering functions
o Aviation operations legal experience, particularly if with cargo logistics
o Other logistics-related legal experience
