What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Supervisor position at Executive Recruiting Group?
We are seeking a Quality Supervisor that will be responsible to develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards for AS9100. This role is on-site position in the Denver, Colorado area.
Primary Duties:
- AS9100 audits
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies
- Update quality documentation
- Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits
- Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate
- Train others in all aspects of the AS9100 quality system and application of procedures
- Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS
- Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address nonconformities found
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the Quality Management team
- Produce written reports
- Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility
- Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
- Participate and assist in customer contract reviews, specifically quality standard requirements
- Perform product inspections and complete quality documentation including but not limited to Part Submission Warrants, First Article Inspections, Certificates of Conformance and Production Parts Approval Process documents
- Support calibration activities as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong experience with AS9100 - FAIR and PPAPS experience
- 5 years of Quality aviation industry experience
- GD&T experience preferred
- Excellent written & oral communication
- Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong computer skills including use of MS Office
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
