SAS Programming Expert (Consultant)
Overview: Seeking a highly experienced SAS Programming Expert consultant to support a proposed program. This role will initially be a consultant position with potential conversion to a full-time role upon program award.
Experience:
Develop, optimize, and manage SAS programs for analyzing large demographic and census datasets.
Build statistical models and conduct analyses using SAS/STAT.
Optimize data pipelines and ETL processes using SAS Macro and SAS/ACCESS.
Generate clear reports and documentation of findings.
Serve as SAS subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Required Qualifications:
10 years of expertise in SAS (Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS/STAT, SAS/ACCESS).
Demonstrated experience analyzing large-scale federal or census datasets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage projects and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with U.S. Census Bureau or federal demographic data programs.
Familiarity with federal data governance and security practices.
Previous government contracting experience.
