We are looking for a Technical (need to know how to code) Solutions Architect.
This Solution Architect will work closely with system architects , business leaders, and technical teams to modernize the company’s integral core legacy system (Cobol) and lead the shift to a modern technology stack. This critical system underpins essential functions, such as policy evaluation, new business processing, and agency management. The modernization will dramatically enhance scalability and efficiency.
Key responsibilities for this position include :
- Modernizing Legacy Systems : Leveraging modern technologies such as .NET, C#, Kubernetes, and Azure to develop a scalable, high-performing solution .
- Driving Scalability and Performance : Supporting prototypes that significantly reduce policy processing times and contributing to the implementation of these advancements across the organization.
- Collaborating on Systems Design : Ensuring the integration of multiple systems to support workflows across business lines, such as agent onboarding and new business processing, while aligning with enterprise standards.
- Hands-On Contributions : Participating in proof-of-concept work, mentoring system architects , and demonstrating best practices for complex technical challenges.
- Future-Proofing Systems : Anticipating future business needs to ensure scalability and flexibility in all technical solutions .

Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive base salary of $135,000–$160,000, an annual bonus, and an outstanding retirement contribution. Total annual remuneration, including these components, is expected to range between $175,000 and $200,000.
You will need to be able to working hours need to be able to overlap with the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. central time.
