Job Overview : We are seeking an in-house trustworthy, dedicated, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Controller to support our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and managing the day-to-day bookkeeping functions for the company’s internal accounting needs, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. This position is a vital part of our company, one that collaborates with all team members and reports directly to the owner and CEO. Main responsibilities include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, recording transactions, reconciliations, financial reporting and management, job costing, and vendor management.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Record and manage invoices in QuickBooks and company CRM.
- Handle job costing transactions to track project expenses accurately and review job profitability.
- Coordinate, receive, and process payments (ACH, credit cards, wire, pick up, etc.).
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
- Handle accounts payable, including vendor payments and expense tracking.
- Utilize and navigate the company's CRM database for financial and project tracking.
- Manage bank accounts, credit cards, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Process payroll and manage payroll transactions.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and record bank transactions.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Conduct and prepare information for company audits.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of all balance sheet and income statement items.
- Prepare all financial reports for review and analysis.
- Assist with other financial tasks as needed to support business operations.
