What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer - Weekdays - ROVER position at Executive Security Services, Inc.?
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
This position will cover four branches of the same company, one week at each branch. Three of the branches are in the Portland Metroplex and one is in Salem. On the week you travel to Salem, you will get paid an hour extra for travel time. For this role, you must have reliable transportation and a driver's license, as well as your Armed DPSST license, concealed carry permit, and holster, vest and gun.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol internal premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor CCTV as well as system alarms
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
Qualifications:
-*_MUST HAVE DPSST Armed Professional License*_
- Experience with surveillance systems and procedures
- Military or law enforcement background is advantageous
- Proficient in conflict management
- First aid knowledge is beneficial
