Duties
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests as needed.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and follow-up instructions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate accurate communication within the healthcare team.
Skills
- Strong understanding of hospital medicine and inpatient care practices.
- Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding physiological processes.
- Familiarity with X-ray procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
- Knowledge of medical administrative support functions, including appointment scheduling and record management.
- Proficiency in medical terminology to ensure clear communication with patients and staff.
