Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain CEMS equipment, including calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the gas analyzer systems (O2, THC, Hg, HCl, stack flow).
- Preventative/predictive maintenance of the system, with a focus on optimization and reliability of equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and modifications to the system.
- Ensure the Company’s plant rules of conduct, health, and safety are applied and enforced.
- Inspect the work area for unsafe working conditions to reduce and eliminate on-the-job lost time injuries
- Participate in environmental stack testing and audits.
- Provide support for other plant process gas analyzers.
- Work with other departments on plant automation and process optimization.
Qualifications
- B.S. or Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field a plus.
- Three (3) years of experience in an industrial electrical/process control environment, with at least one (1) year of experience operating, maintaining, and repairing environmental CEMS equipment.
- Preferable cement process knowledge. Candidate should have a strong HMI, PLC, and instrumentation background.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively with plant management.
- Team player who will achieve the organization's goals through internal and external personnel.
- Strong process controls and electrical skills with an emphasis on process optimization. Competency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and P&ID drawings
- Proven experience in PLC Logic and programming, as well as in HMI systems and related hardware/software.
- Ability to operate data acquisition/analysis systems and software
- Ability to work effectively with other departments (maintenance & production)
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work at heights, climb stairs and ladders, and bend or stoop for long periods in varying weather conditions and high noise levels
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $69,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
