ABOUT THE POSITION
The Financial department is responsible for making financial plans, investigations and creating control systems to monitor the business. The work includes collecting, analysing, verifying, and reporting financial information, compiling the economic results and assessing profitability by analysing costs and revenues. The finance team are meticulous and support each other in all they do with lots of laughter and warmth!
Your responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, payments, collections, and reconciliations.
- Oversee cost accounting activities including cost variance analysis, production costs, and inventory management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting principles and company standards.
- Assist in developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Work closely with production teams to monitor and reconcile inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock valuation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations to mitigate risks.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and accessible.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive business performance improvements.
