What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Exegistics?
Exegistics is seeking (7) Industrial Maintenance Technicians/Mechanics for our valued client in the Rockford, IL area.
These are all DIRECT HIRE opportunities with benefits.
The interview process consists of just ONE onsite interview & they make a decision!
Starting Pay: $30 - $39 hourly (depending on experience & skillset)
- Dependent on Experience plus $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift
- Dependent on Experience plus $0.60 shift differential for 3rd shift
Shift/Hours:
- 2nd shift: Monday-Friday from 1:30pm - 10:00pm - (x3)
- 3rd shift: Monday-Friday from 9:30pm - 6:00am - (x4)
NOTE: Will train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd / 3rd shift once training is complete. Shift differential ONLY applies when working 2nd / 3rd shift.

WHAT YOU WILL DO as an Industrial Maintenance Technician/Mechanic
Reporting to the Maintenance & Repair Leader, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing repairs on production equipment and planned preventative & condition-based maintenance. The Maintenance Mechanic will be involved in planned improvements and maintenance project work. Primary equipment is CPG packaging and processing lines and support equipment.
