Position Summary:
The Coordinator, Operations supports the ongoing development, manufacture and distribution of pharmaceutical products in compliance with local procedures, corporate policies and the regulatory requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day office operations ensuring a functioning and well-prepared working environment
- Liaison between operators inside cleanrooms and management to ensure smooth operations
- Manage relationships and requests with operations management, Quality Assurance, cleaning staff, IT, and all office vendors
- Manage on-boarding for new employees including ordering of appropriate sized attire, assign lockers, and distribute safety glasses and badge holders
- Order supplies as needed for day to day operations
- Serve as the point person for operators, management, materials management, quality, and mechanics
- Manage the distribution and flow of batch records and other documentation pertaining to the operators and operations leadership
- Review completed batch records for accuracy and legibility
- Submit work requests, new asset requests, etc. into the Blue Mountain Operating System.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for efficient operations
- Initiate change controls/CAPAs as needed/requested
- Manage ad hoc projects as needed to support the leadership team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- 1-2 years of internship or work experience in an administrative role– preferably at a startup
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a keen eye for details
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace.
- Knowledge on Microsoft office (Power point, word and excel)
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate degrees or higher, preferred.
- One year experience pharmaceutical industry
