Position Summary
Exela Pharma Sciences, LLC., is looking for a QC IRMI Technician to join our Incoming Raw Materials QC team in Lenoir, NC. The QC IRMI Technician is responsible for performing QA inspection, sampling, AQL, and release labeling of raw materials to be used in production.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform QA inspection of incoming raw materials prior to their use in production
- Perform AQL sampling and sampling breakdown of incoming raw materials including components and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)
- Assist with the sampling of DEA raw materials (DEA level 3)
- Performs regularly scheduled sanitization and cleaning of IRMI sampling enclosure
- Fulfills sample requests for finished drug product and API raw materials
- Perform inspections and sampling required for retest folders
- Apply release labels to raw materials upon final disposition
- Escalates any internal compliance needs/findings
- This position may be involved with the transportation and handling of hazardous waste
Education Requirements
High School diploma / or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds continuously
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to use pallet jack and operate forklift after proper training
- Must be able to pull, sit, stand, and bend continuously
- Must have proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Word/Excel
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division)
- Must be self-motivated, driven, and have good work ethic
- Must be capable of working both independently and as a team player
- Must have the ability to grow and develop from constructive criticism
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Written Policies
