Job Description
As a Dock Attendant you are responsible for dock operations including: communication to appropriate partners regarding incoming and outgoing shipments/deliveries, receiving and shipping packages/pallets while making sure they get tracked and communicated to the appropriate departments, coordinating and tracking of recycled materials. You are the point person for compost and trash pick-ups from the compactors. Additionally, you make sure the dock is clean and safe and all trailers are locked or chocked.
This role requires you to report and perform job duties primarily On-Site

About You
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license. Class D required.
- Shipping/Receiving experience, including documentation retention is desired.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and email communication best practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
