Are you in? Primary Purpose : The Communications Specialist, is responsible for planning and executing internal communications programs in support of the Communications Director[AN1] . This person engages corporate and business unit / operating company organizations to gather and disseminate messages that foster employee connection across the enterprise, ultimately to help drive business goals.Primary Duties :
Ensure effective communication of corporate goals and initiatives to employees. (30%)Support and participate in communications programs and initiatives. (20%)Produce and / or edit accurate, compelling, and editorially proficient written communications. (25%)Oversee a variety of communication tasks to support leadership, including talking points, short presentations, and online messages. (5%)Assist in resource-sharing duties with other Communications departments. (10%)Implement improvements from insights generated by teams data analysis of internal communications activities. (10%)Job Scope :
Position activities are focused on internal communications for broader applicationInvolves some proactive communication planning, with oversight from supervisor, and plan execution, project leadership and a high level of coordination with other functions.May require significant outreach to internal business units and developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders.Requires occasional local travel and occasional evening and weekend work.Works under general supervision.Minimum Qualifications :
4-year relevant degree and a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in internal or external communicationsProven communications skills; both written and interpersonal.Excellent writing skills and self-motivationIn lieu of degree, 3-6 years of relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications :
Energy business / industry knowledge.Understanding organizational communications.Willingness to learn and undertake new projects.Familiarity with enterprise email marketing platforms and content management systems.Experience editing short- and long-form written communications.Familiarity with using data to inform communications strategies.Willingness to learn and undertake new projects.Benefits :
