Primary Purpose
Analyzes key strategic issues facing the company. Works with OpCos, peer groups and Corporate Strategy in advancing our Energy Delivery Strategy and identifying and advancing Growth opportunities. Collaborates to identify current state for each utility and assists in developing a roadmap for achieving the Strategic vision and growth objectives.
This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
Must sit within our service areas in DC, Chicago, Philly, or Baltimore.
No relocation is available.
Primary Duties
- Support multiple projects to analyze and resolve key strategic issues facing the company as a team lead, participant and / or individual contributor. Assist in developing roadmaps and project plans for achieving strategic objectives. Provide strategic analysis and critical thinking to analyze issues that will have a major impact on roadmaps and project plans. Use data and research on issues, industry trends, emerging technology, to inform the development of Strategy recommendations, and serve as project analyst for strategy / planning. (45%)
- Support the strategic plans, projects and growth . Develop, maintain, and communicate market sector, value chain, customers, competitors, business models and strategies as it pertains to Exelon's Integrated Delivery strategy and Growth efforts. Support business units in utilizing the information for strategic planning, creating a value proposition and business case, prioritizing product portfolios and offerings, and other objectives to drive load, capital investment, profitability, customer focus, competitive strategy, and growth as it relates to the strategy. Develops data and analysis that can be translated into conclusions, implications, and recommendations, and project plans for incorporation into the business portfolio analysis including industry and market trends, forecasted market size and segments. - Conduct research on issues, industry trends, emerging technology, collect data to inform the development of Strategy and Growth recommendations. Remain abreast of industry trends. (10%)
- Support effort to cascade the Vision down through the organization together with strategic business literacy issues. Cascade the vision through the organization aligning and engaging employees. Communicate key strategic issues by presenting at employee meetings across the company (5%)
- Support the development of discussion materials at the CEO, Board Strategy Retreat and Executive and Steering Committee meetings. (5%)
Job Scope
Position will support advancing our energy delivery strategy and Growth efforts : Frames and conducts analysis on strategic issues and growth opportunities. Integrates data, policy, technology and customer insights into scenarios and models to inform decisions. Assists in developing a roadmap for Gas and Electric Operations, short-term and long-term Transmission, Distribution and Gas (T / D / G) system planning to achieve the strategic Vision. Coordinates with OpCo experts and peer groups to identify data and technology needs and business growth opportunities to support future grid and gas systems. Participates in R&D activities with internal and external partners. Interacts regularly with OpCo T / D / G / IT experts, Strategy, Regulatory and Policy teams. Provides written / oral presentations to key managers and executives on analysis of issues

Salary : $113,600 - $170,400
