Primary Purpose
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Manage and develop strategic long-term strategies for key stakeholder engagement in support of large projects within BGE that affect economic growth and development within the BGE service territory to ensure a successful and premier customer service experience. This includes developing and managing relationships with key external stakeholders that are responsible for these projects as well as problem solving internally communicating with BGE key leadership.

JOB SCOPE
Actively participate in prospective project inquiries from Economic Development, project planning and status meetings to assess external communication and coordination needs against outreach strategies and plans, lead adjustments to plans as necessary to ensure project success and serve as lead point of contact with external representatives and agencies as necessary. Collaborate and partner with GEA to enhance community presence and relationships with elected officials/agencies Challenge BGE internally in effort to identify and implement process efficiencies to achieve large customer schedules and expectations. Anticipate obstacles/challenges before and during a project and develop stakeholder engagement strategies BGE point of contact with leadership to supply updates via monthly VP Steering Committee, ELT meetings to receive input and setting realistic expectations both internally and externally with key stakeholders.

Primary Duties
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Liaise with Project Management, Economic Development, New Business, Regulatory, Support Services, and other internal organizations to assess proposed scope of large projects; anticipate challenges/obstacles broadly (25%)
- Actively participate in project planning and status meetings from project initiation through completion of construction to assess external communication and coordination needs (25%)
- Evaluate impacts to surrounding communities and permitting requirements as they will relate to the necessary communication and coordination with local, state, and federal agencies. (15%)
- Serve as Outreach and External Affairs lead to guide project team development and execution of effective outreach strategies (15%)
- Actively lead and participate in coordination and outreach meetings with all external stakeholders including governmental representatives, community organizations, permitting agencies, (15%)
- Point of contact and lead updates to BGE leadership for large projects (5%)

- Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $210,000.00/Yr.
- Annual Bonus for eligible positions: 25% plus an additional $25K annually
