Full job description
Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Care is hiring for its Des Moines clinic that offering Direct Primary Care and 24/7 urgent care.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our care team. Full-Time shifts, 36-40 hours a week, rotating weekends and holidays.
Core activities of the role
- Assess and Room Patients
- Update and Maintain Patient Records
- Check and Monitor Vitals
- Obtain Lab Samples
- Process Labs
- Dispense Medications
- Administer Medications Per Provider Orders
- Patient Follow Up
- Placement of IV (RN)
- Inventory Tracking
- Basic Office Duties
- Check-in Patients
- Assist in Medical Procedures Under Direction of the Provider
- Act within the confines of licensure for all duties listed in this posting or elsewhere
- Other duties as assigned

You will need
Licenses: Valid and Current State Registered Nursing License or CMA Certificate
Experience: Related experience preferred
Other Certificate: Maintain current BLS certification required.
Reporting to the Director of Patient Care.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 25 pounds at rare times with or without assistance
Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 10 – 25 pounds semi-often
Must be able to push, pull, lift, lower, or other movements at 0 – 10 pounds frequently
Environmental Requirements: Moderate levels of sound, consistent amount of moving around between rooms required, in a temperature-controlled environment, and consistently working with the general public.
Additional Role Information
Hours: 36 – 40 hours per week, rotating holiday and weekends
