Job Title: Director of National Sales – Allen & Heath USA

Division: American Music & Sound (AM&S)

Location: Remote within USA, domestic and international travel required

Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM

  • Drive adoption of Allen & Heath solutions in the United States across all market verticals
  • Develop relationships with key audio consultants, design/build, and integration companies
  • Plan tactical sales promotions, incentives, and marketing campaigns with AM&S counterparts
  • Interface with Allen & Heath U.K. to drive product innovation, line extensions, and features
  • Feedback U.S. mark intelligence to Allen & Heath U.K. on monthly basis
  • Advise in planning/forecasting discussions to ensure product mix, inventory needs, and market trends are considered to achieve goals
  • Strengthen and maintain existing key partner relationships with national resellers such as Guitar Center, Sweetwater, B&H, Full Compass, Amazon, etc.
  • Identify new market verticals and adjacencies to capitalize on growth opportunities for the brand
  • Develop sales tools, processes, and guidelines for streamlining, incentivizing, and managing desired outcomes for each sales channel while ensuring to preserve brand integrity and equity with established partners

What You Will Do

The Director of National Sales for Allen & Heath USA is responsible for overseeing the Regional Sales Managers and Rep Firms, working with cross-functional teams to drive brand strategy, including AM&S Marketing and AM&S Pro Market Development, and interfacing with Allen & Heath U.K. sales, product development, quality, marketing, and executive leadership to align on strategic initiatives for the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly sales meetings, Rep webinars, and annual trade show meetings
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
  • Work with VP, Pro Audio to set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Create and communicate sales goals, ensure management is informed on the progress of those goals
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
  • Understand industry-specific trends and the competitive landscape
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets
  • Develop sales programs as needed
  • Manage product allocations as needed
  • Manage the sales force, provide weekly/monthly reporting and guidance to the Sales Team, conduct annual and bi-annual performance evaluations
  • Attend trade shows both nationally and internationally
  • Channel product feedback to stakeholders in the U.K. for product improvements/enhancements and to identify opportunities for new product development
  • Gather data from influencers, customers, end-users and the sales channel to Allen & Heath U.K. to guide product development decisions by representing the voice of the customer
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • High level of experience in the pro audio mixing consoles and systems markets
  • Expert knowledge of the professional audio market, audio networking protocols and deployment
  • Minimum 5 years in product support or product management experience
  • Technical background, EE Engineering degree, familiarity with the Allen & Heath product range
  • Ability to manage a team of sales professionals
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Collaborative team worker
  • Ability to communicate with audio professionals at a high level
  • Confident representative of sales and marketing team
  • Ability to articulate business trends to executive leadership and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel throughout the USA and internationally
