Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure
- BLS/CPR certification
