Reports To :
The retail sales associate will report to, and be supervised by the VP Of Retail.

Job Overview :

The Retail Sales Associate position is a full time position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.

The retail sales associate is responsible for greeting customers face to face as well as on the telephone; answering questions, making recommendations, opening and closing duties, cash handling, processing sales using a POS system, cleaning, re-stocking, inventory management and any additional tasks as required by management.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, retail sales skills and a comprehensive knowledge of glass.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Greeting customers, answering questions, processing sales via POS system, cash handling.
• Taking inventory of the products on the sales floor, stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Being knowledgeable about glass.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

In order to apply for the retail sales associate position, you must be over the age of 21 and be able to pass a background check.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person as well as over the telephone.
• Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills.
• Must be reliable, work well alone and be self motivated.
• Have prior work experience in a retail sales environment.
• Extensive knowledge of glass is a bonus.
• Is punctual, reliable, professional and trainable.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift 50lbs unaided.

Schedule :

• This is a full time position. The schedule is typically 10:45am to 7:15 pm.

• $17.50 / per hour
