Production Assembler

Overview

The Production Assembler is responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies in accordance with established standards and processes / procedures.

Position currently located in Ruckersville, VA.

Pay is $18.25

Monday thru Friday, 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and / or purchasing personnel
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and material to Production Supervisor
• Willingness to cross train on all areas of production floor
