What are the responsibilities and job description for the CL A Drivers w/Hazmat Home W/Ends 1400-1700/Wk position at Exile Transport?
CL A drivers with 6 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 18 months (w/Hazmat and tanker endorsement) be home weekends running dedicated account running dry van. Drivers will primarily run the Northeast and Mid Atlantic down to NC.
Driver Pay: Driver average pay is $1340-$1450/WK with top 20% of drivers earning over $1800/WK with new hire bonus of $500 second week.
Running Area: Drivers will deliver NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA, upstate NY, MA, OH, IN, NC, IL. NO NYC but drivers must deliver to ALL areas.
Full benefits start within 60 days.
Running dry van with preloaded trailers (all outbound freight is placarded) with mix of drop and hook, live unload and occasionally driver assist with tailgate (moving freight from nose to end of trailer on a few locations)
Drivers must live within 100 miles of Martinsburg, WV or 60 miles of Northborough, MA
Drivers may park at home unless they have a shipment on board. If drivers are coming from home may need to leave out earlier than Monday AM to get pick up in time. Pick ups mostly come out of Martinsburg
Drivers will generally leave out Monday morning (unless heavy load volume on a particular week or driver is coming from home) and are back either Friday night or early Saturday.
Orientation pay is $500 and is two days
DRIVERS MUST LIVE WITHIN 100 MILES OF MARTINSBURG, WV OR 60 MILES OF NORTHBOROUGH MA
Requirements
Drivers must have 6 months Class A experience in the last 18 months
Drivers must have Hazmat endorsement and tanker endorsement
May not have more than 3 moving violations on your driving record and 5 on your PSP (this includes all warnings).
No major moving violations in the last two years such as 15 , improper lane change, following too closely etc. Careless and reckless within 5 years will be reviewed
No DOT Recordable Preventable in the last years and no more than one in the last 3 years
No more than three preventable incidents or accidents in the last 3 years
No more than 8 jobs in the last 3 years and more than 3 CDL jobs in the last year.
No terminations for safety from last job and any in the last year must be reviewed by safety
