We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This is an interim position with the opportunity to become part of our nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and cardiac catheterization when necessary.
- Provide care for patients of all ages, including infants and toddlers, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain aseptic technique during all medical procedures to prevent infection.
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner for accurate documentation of patient information.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and internal medicine.
- Experience administering injections and performing IV insertions.
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization techniques is preferred.
- Proficient in maintaining aseptic technique during procedures.
- Experience in infant care and toddler care is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess patient needs effectively.

Pay: $40.41 - $44.09 per hour
