Onshore Technical Lead

Job Description:Onshore technical lead to support multiple client engagements in Insurance domain. This role requires working with clients and the internal onshore/offshore delivery teams to meet the delivery goals. Strong communication, organization, problem solving skills and technical architecture knowledge are the key requirements for this role. An ideal candidate will need to have an acumen towards process improvement and automation. Key Responsibilities: Part of the on-premises and AWS application hosting team, managing the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Windows-based and cloud-hosted applications. Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and administration of Windows Server environments and AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable hosting solutions. Manage application deployments, patching, upgrades, and security hardening in compliance with organizational policies. Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks proactively. Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning across on-premises and AWS environments. Ensure compliance with IT security, regulatory requirements, SOX compliance, and customer data privacy laws for hosted applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Work closely with vendors and third-party providers to manage licensing, support contracts, and escalations. Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to enhance operational efficiency.    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 3 years of experience in the US Insurance domain (preferably in Life, Annuity, or Health) working on a popular policy administration system. 3 years of experience in a client-facing role with strong communication skills. 3 years of experience in project management and solution architecture. 3 years of experience supporting applications in a Production environment with strict SLAs. 3 years of experience in development and/or administration of a batch scheduling tool like Active Batch, RunMyJob. control-M, Autosys etc. 2 years of experience in hosting and supporting highly available applications is AWS. 2 years of experience with working on hosting applications on IIS, Apache TomEE, and self-hosting application on Window servers (2016/2019/2022) Strong Knowledge in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), IIS, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, networking concepts, load balancing, and DNS management. Deploy applications utilizing AWS services such as EC2, Route53, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and IAM. Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or SCCM for configuration management. Experience with creating and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Jenkins and Shell scripting. Proficiency in monitoring tools like SCOM, Site24*7, AWS CloudWatch, or equivalent solutions.

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
