Job Description: This role will support our auto and workers comp subrogation/arbitration department as a quality assurance lead and subject matter expert. The Subrogation SME will create and conduct quality audits on internal files to ensure both internal and external compliance. This role will be responsible for providing feedback and creating solutions for improvement within the unit.
Responsibilities
Review of subrogation files for quality, process, accuracy
Ensure that subrogation is in line with regulatory compliance
Manage projects related to subrogation and arbitration recovery
Ensure client communication is timely and accurate for specific services
Conduct training of newly hired team members or enhance competencies of existing members.
Provide and implement process improvements.
Provide reporting of trends within the unit for areas of focus
Process subrogation/arbitration files as overflow needed – not part of daily functions
Competencies:
Ability to collaborate with team to improve products for clients related to subrogation
Identify areas of opportunity in both processes and platform (creative solutions)
Knowledge of both auto estimating and auto claims laws/compliance regulations
Ability to handle a pressure-based environment, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in auto insurance industry, specifically claims processing/leadership
Prior subrogation experience preferred but not required
College degree in Business/Journalism or related field is preferred
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
