Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth through strategic planning and execution of business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and customer relationship management within the vacation rental industry, with the ability to negotiate effectively and manage time efficiently. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and enhancing our existing customer base.
The Business Development Manager collaborates with the Regional manager, Operations Team (Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services), and Administrative Onboarding Team during the recruiting process to properly onboard the home for maximum rental potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Networking: Leverage your existing connections and build new relationships by attending various networking events to promote the brand throughout NW regions. Collaborate with second homeowners, realtors, referral sources, and other industry stakeholders to drive business development.
- Strategic Growth: Quickly follow up on all inbound leads and proactively seek new sales opportunities through tele-sales, video conferencing, and in-person meetings. Your efforts will be crucial in growing our inventory of vacation rentals in the area.
- Sales Experimentation and Iteration: Actively test and refine sales strategies, using data to inform your decisions. You’ll explore different approaches, gather insights, and continuously improve your methods to find what works best in this unique market.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to close, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. You'll also be responsible for getting new homes live in our system.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with local operations and support staff to ensure owner satisfaction and maintain strong, lasting relationships with homeowners.
- Market Analysis: Research local and national competitors, understand local regulations, and stay abreast of industry trends to ensure our competitive edge.

Requirements
- Strong network and connections on the Oregon Coast and Central Oregon.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex sales challenges with creative and effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to advise and consult with savvy vacation homeowners.
- A track record of success in experimenting with and refining sales strategies.
- Self-motivated, hungry, and driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with G Suite, CRM systems, and a strong aptitude for learning new tools and technologies.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to prospective homes and attend networking events as required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
