Cashier and Stocker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier/Stocker to join our ministry team. Kindness and patience is essential in providing excellent customer service while ensuring our store remains well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing transactions efficiently, maintaining inventory levels, and encouraging and ministering to our community as they shop, donate or just need help, prayer or a kind word.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
• Stock shelves with products, ensuring proper organization and display according to store standards.
• Load and unload merchandise from donors, maintaining inventory control throughout the process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and sorting areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock items to management.
• Support retail sales efforts by promoting kindness and assisting customers in finding items.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly demeanor towards customers and ministry team members.
• Experience in retail sales or a similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to load and unload merchandise safely; physical stamina is necessary for lifting items as needed.
