The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of related experience in manual testing.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers requirement specifications necessary for establishing testing scope
- Establishes readiness on tasks, analyzes risk, provides estimates and plans work for testing efforts.
- Participates in requirements reviews, design reviews, systems analysis and testing review discussions.
- Determines scope and focus of testing effort and creates Test Strategy and risk analysis to guide testing efforts.
- Prepares test data scripts, based on ETL mapping artifacts, executes data scripts and analyzes execution results
- Performs in-depth analysis by weighing relevance and accuracy of information to provide alternative solutions while appropriately incorporating input from others.
- Provides status and results of testing activities.
- Communicates regularly with team members, data analysts and advocates for resolution of high priority problems
- Creates, uses and maintains automated scripts to increase efficiencies in testing, including troubleshooting problems with scripts.
Required Skills:
- Experience in manual testing for both UI and backend applications.
- Experience working in a Scrum environment
- Proficiency in TFS/ADO.
- Ability to execute basic SQL queries.
- Experience in creating Test Plan and Test execution based on the understanding of the application.
- Knowledge of BUG cycle
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Fusion
