Medical Assistant Position
A small boutique pain management clinic is seeking a Full/Part-time Medical Assistant. The days and hours may vary between Monday - Friday 7:30AM- 6:00PM.
NO weekends.

Pay Rate: $16.50 /per hour, based on experience, potential for bonus and pay advancement.
The ideal candidate has to be organized, task oriented, energetic, self-motivated person with positive communication skills and attitude, ability to learn and implement new procedures quickly in a fast-paced environment. The applicant must have patient-service attitude and have a friendly, willing-to-help personality.
Administrative duties include, but not limited to:
Greeting patients, telephone triage, collect payments, updating and filing patients' medical records, filling out insurance forms, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, arranging for hospital admission and laboratory services, bookkeeping, etc.
Clinical duties but not limited to:
The duties will include assisting providers with direct patient care that involves, rooming and exiting patients;
Preparing patients for examination and/or procedure;
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, dispose of contaminated supplies;
Arrange examining-room instruments and equipment;
Submissions of physician prescriptions and labs;
Clean & stock exam rooms, etc.
Additionally, clinical duties will include training and performance of High Dose Laser Therapy and other therapies for acute and chronic pain conditions.
Requirements:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA);
A minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting (clinic, medical practice, hospital);
Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) is a plus;
Experience in eClinicalWorks EMR is a plus;
Knowledge of medical insurance and terminology, billing and data entry;
Knowledge of properly writing a prescription;
Computer proficiency;
Pain management and spine care experience is a plus;
Authorization to work in the United States;
Must have reliable transportation;
Must be able to travel to office locations in Boise and Caldwell.
