About the Role : We are seeking a Senior Product Manager for our spatial portfolio to drive instrument and consumables growth. This position will report to the Senior Director of Product Management for Spatial Platforms and be responsible for leading the execution of product management activities, ensuring the right product concept, fit, requirements, and eventual launch of products. This person will be leading product management activities within the spatial platform as well as proteomic cross-platform activities.This role will require interfacing with multiple stakeholders across the entire 10x Product Management team, as well as collaborating with key contributors in marketing program management, marketing communications, sales, finance, R&D, and distribution. The Staff Product Manager will be responsible for owning the business case, financial assumptions and pricing, positioning, and portfolio fit for the assigned products.What you will be doing : Work on life cycle management and new product introduction for productsDevelop an integrated strategy and product roadmap that supports the Product Portfoliomarket needs and gaps, opportunities and trends, competitive landscape, and technology landscapeDefine customer requirements and user needsManage supply / demand efforts across the spatial productsServe as primary customer advocate during product development; drives tradeoff decisionsInterfaces with manufacturing operations, quality and planning on product issues to ensure products meet customer expectationsEducate sales and regional marketing on assigned product linesDesigns / implements effective market and forecast models with stakeholders with granularity at the regional, market, and segment levelSet pricing strategySet and deliver against product profitability goalsMinimum RequirementBS in life science field6 years of experience in product management / marketing in Life SciencesMust have experience in customer interactions in either a Sales, Business Development or Marketing functionMust have strong communication skills with experience communicating to all levels of an organizationExperience conducting market research and developing detailed product requirementsPreferred Skills / ExperienceAbility to influence across the organization at all levels and serve as player / coach depending on business needsExperience managing products across multiple product portfolios and simultaneously managing deliverables for products at various stages of development and life cycle stagesStrong technical knowledge of genomics, and / or next generation sequencing and molecular biology productsExperience in spatial assays highly desiredDemonstrated ability to develop long-term product strategies and go-to-market plansProficient written, communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to diverse audiencesExperience working in cross-functional teams covering various internal organizationsExceptional time and project management skills and ability to prioritize competing requestsWilling to travel up to 30%#J-18808-Ljbffr
