What You Will Do:


We are seeking a skilled and dynamic professional to serve as the Lead, Technology. This position will be located onsite, where the individual will hold the title of IT Director while onsite. The primary focus for this role is managing and presenting technology solutions to stakeholders, with an emphasis on leadership, presentation, and management skills over advanced technical expertise. This individual will supervise and lead a team while assisting in technical assessments, infrastructure management, and ensuring smooth IT operations.


  • Supervise the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of service/management applications or infrastructure components integrated into the client’s computing infrastructure.
  • Manages onsite team of IT specialists.
  • Prepares and participates in Monthly Service Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Monitor ongoing system operations and support performance tuning, troubleshooting hardware, OS, and application issues.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Government Operations to assist with client assessments and scope new projects.
  • Communicates client activity, issues, status and ongoing activity to the EXOS Director of Government Operations on a regular basis.
  • Engaged as part of the EXOS IT Managed Services management team to perform consistent, scalable services for the entire EXOS client base.
  • Supervise infrastructure backups and recovery processes, both regularly and on-demand, meeting contractual obligations.
  • Ensures all contractual delivery obligations are being met on a daily basis. Understands the contract and ensures his/her direct reports also understand the responsibilities. Creates methodology to ensure adherence to requirements.
  • Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity planning, testing, and implementation, as well as emergency system response.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on procedures, configurations, and equipment inventory.
  • Assist in the management and operation of the client’s data center, ensuring efficiency and security.
  • Participate and lead monthly and quarterly client service delivery meetings.
  • Implement security policies and procedures, address security incidents, and contribute to a secure computing infrastructure.
  • Train staff on standard operating procedures and implementation.
  • Research and recommend new hardware, software, and management tools to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Lead small to large projects, including needs analysis, planning, testing, and implementation.
  • Perform other duties related to the role that maintain the core responsibilities and objectives of the position.


What You Have Done:


Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years of direct IT experience, with a focus on managing teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience creating clear documentation and familiarity with formal service management and project management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and communicate technology solutions to executive leadership.
  • Solid technical background in security engineering, network security, authentication, cryptography, and application security.
  • Experience with various network technologies including switching, routing, and firewall management (Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Ubiquity).
  • Experience with Windows Server (2012-2019), Active Directory, and preliminary knowledge of Azure and Office 365.
  • Strong experience creating, deploying, and maintaining network and server infrastructure utilizing virtualization technologies (currently running Scale).
  • Proficient in troubleshooting network devices such as servers, routers, and firewalls.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, VPN technologies) and experience using network tools (e.g., WinSCP, Putty, Wireshark).
