Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Oversee the project lifecycle, including scope, scheduling, resources, risk management, and quality control.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors. Regularly update senior management on project status, risks, and issues. Ensure stakeholders' needs are understood and met throughout the project.
* Build and lead a project team, including technical and non-technical resources. Assign tasks, manage performance, and foster a collaborative environment.
* Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
* Develop and manage project budgets.
* Continuously assess project management processes, tools, and methodologies for improvement. Implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency in managing infrastructure projects.
* Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors. Oversee the procurement of hardware, software, and services necessary for project execution.
* Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and change orders.
* Ensure that all infrastructure projects comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with security teams to address potential security concerns.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
* Proven experience 5 years as an IT Project Manager, specifically in managing IT infrastructure projects (e.g., networks, servers, data centers, cloud solutions).
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, and data storage solutions.
* Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and project management tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
* Solid understanding of risk management, budget control, and resource management principles.
* Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices is a plus.
* Experience with cloud-based infrastructures.
* Familiarity with enterprise-level infrastructure implementations (server migrations, data center buildouts, network optimization).
* Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory standards.
